Whitley Bay Cricket Club plays at West Park, Hotspur Avenue, Whitley Bay. We run two Saturday league sides in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League — the First XI are Division 4 North champions and now play in Division 4, while the Second XI play in Division 6 South — plus a midweek XI in the North East Midweek Cricket League and a Sunday XI mixing young and old.
Junior cricket runs at U9, U11 (divisional champions), U13 and U15, with U11 and U13 girls' squads and a women's team launching in 2027. The club has secured an Active North Tyneside grant for indoor winter practice and runs ECB All Stars through the summer.
